(Murphy, J.P., 2025) 36" E 6.5" Dormant Diploid, Spider and UF Cascade

Sizzling brown and black with greyed edges, black eye, green throat, and cream midribs. Reverse bi-tone. This one is both a 4:1 ratio spider and a very curly UF cascade. Black stamens and anthers. Hearty bloom period with 4 branches and 29 buds in good conditions. Fertile both ways with impressive to amazing kids.

A black red purple blend with bright green throat, and unusual cream fading to reddish pink midribs. Black anthers and stamens , purple buds. A bud builder blooming into September here. 3 branches and 22 buds

Parentage: (North Garden Chief x ( Cabernet Cabaret x Ocean Tides)) Exceedingly fertile.

Wow! Ruffled cream with green throat extending WAY out onto long tepals. Light green anthers. Very strong scapes hold almost all blooms facing out, toward you. Strong Bud Builder for a long season of bloom.

Parentage: (Green Tea x Garden Ghost), two of my best cream UF’s.

Pollen fertile only, but my, what great children. 2 branches and 21 buds, but more buds after bud building.

Yellow cascade with strong, feathered black red eye, cream midribs, and large green throat. The contrast of very dark eye on a light background with most blooms facing out is great. Exceedingly strong scapes. It is out of (Stingray Point x Clearly), which both have iron scapes. Those three and my Head In The Clouds yield a new direction for Diploid UF breeders.

3 branches, 27 buds, Bud Builder and some rebloom mean a really long bloom season.

Fertile both ways, fantastic iron scape kids.

Reddish Purple with green throat, blending to cream and cream midribs.

This is a plant that is striking at a distance because of its height and contrasting cream throat. Up close, it is unusual in that each bloom tends to have a different shape. Very strong Bud Builder. Occasionally reblooms. Scapes are very sturdy and strong. It is in bloom for two and half months in good conditions. 4 branches and 27 buds.

Parentage: (It’s Glad Cows Don’t Fly x Tom Malone). Not pod fertile but pollen fertile.

Cream, green throat, bluish-lavender blends into feathered raspberry patterned lavender eye, some dark cream. Cream midribs, ruffled edge. Great in the early garden and has some rebloom.

3 branches and 18 buds in good conditions.

Parentage: (Energy x Janice’s Blue Eyes) and unlike JBE it is very vigorous.
Fertile both ways and an exciting parent.

Heavily ruffled cream with lavender band (bands are just on petals) and light green throat. Poly about 85%. 2 branches and 13 buds, but with a long season of bloom for the minimal bud count.
Parentage: (Octomom x Eight Is Great). Fertile both ways. Distinctive.

(Murphy, J.P., 2025) 30" MRe 5.25" Dormant Diploid, Polymerous

Much anticipated introduction of this unique, heavily re-blooming poly.

Cream to light lemon cream with green throat, reddish lavender extended eye with veins, and cream midrib. It patterns but is variable in some weather. Ruffled petals. 80% poly on first scapes here, and 99.5% on rebloom scapes. It starts at mid season and in most years reblooms multiple times until it freezes. One year it rebloomed 4 times on average and one year just once. Limited branching and bud count at 2 branches and 10 buds.

I guess the coolest thing about this flower is that it is distinct and unique.

Parentage: (((Starlight Splash x Faulkner seedling) x Flight of Orchids) x (Snooks Harville seedling x Starlight Splash))

It therefore has poly genes, reblooming genes, and pattern genes. I have several future introductions from this one. Fertile both ways.
