IMPERIAL TOPAZ

(Murphy-JP, 2023) 34" EM Re 5.25" Dormant Diploid, UF Crispate
Complicated colors of pewter lavender with green throat blending to cream white throat, that extends onto tepals. Lavender cream pattern edged purple. Veined and ruffled. Distinction in flower pattern and form makes this one unique in the garden. There is no question that this is Imperial Topaz and it will not get mistaken for another flower! Absolutely wacky and interesting children. Fertile both ways. Blooms long and slow, not all at once, and reblooms well here, especially in August and September. 1 branch and 12 buds in marginal conditions.
Out of ((Morrie Otte x Faulkner seedling) x ( Almira Buffalo Bone Jackson x lost tag))

Has proven hardy in Zones 4b and 5a.
